This course provides a brief overview of Autism Spectrum Disorders and the research behind the need for structured adaptive physical skills programs.
Additionally, the specific motor and physical problems this population faces and the challenges of treatment are also reviewed. A functional step-by-step curriculum of 55 skills are provided to improve foundational ball skills, which include basic tossing, catching, and kicking.
