David is the Founder and CEO of BB360. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He is NSCA Certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has been working in the field of health and wellness, exercise and nutrition for over 18 years.
David has trained and provided nutrition counseling for children, adults, and seniors as well as amateur and professional athletes and has a passion for helping people live strong, healthy, and balanced lives. He is also the Co-Owner of Stadium Fitness and Stadium Fitness Yoga.
In 2011, David was voted the San Gabriel Valley’s “Best Fitness Trainer” by the readers of the Pasadena Star News, San Gabriel Valley Tribune, and Whittier Daily News. Also in 2011, David’s fitness program, Stadium Fitness, was voted Pasadena’s “Best Fitness & Weight-Loss Program” by the readers of Pasadena Weekly in the Best of Pasadena Issue. In 2012, he was named to the Ambassador program at Lululemon Athletica Pasadena where he is recognized for his contributions to the community both on and off the field.
Dr. Gwennyth Palafox
Founder, Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Palafox is a clinical psychologist who brings almost 2 decades of expertise in assessment, education and treatment of individuals across the lifespan with and without special needs. She has spent most of her professional career improving the lives of individuals and families affected with an autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities and those who demonstrate asynchronous and complex profiles.
Dr. Palafox’s extensive training, real-time experience and savvy ability to integrate developmental concepts, brain development/functioning and relational interactions, make her an invaluable professional and resource that has been sought in complex cases and expert witness testimony. She is known for her comprehensive, enthusiastic and relatable style, translating and organizing scientific findings into practical, fun and understandable teachings and interventions that have been presented locally, regionally and internationally to positive acclaim, most recently at TEDx 2012 in Studio City, California.
Dr. Palafox’s solid belief in the connection between the mind, body and the ability to relate to oneself and others, no matter who the individual is or whether a disability exists, grounds every service and program offered.
Founder, Director of Operations
Jodie grew up in North Andover, MA where her participation in sports began at age 5. From childhood through high school, she played soccer for one of the state’s top programs and also excelled as a sprinter for the indoor and outdoor track teams.
Jodie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire and moved to Southern California after graduation. Here, she has enjoyed success in several other areas of the sports and fitness arena including an 8-page feature article in Shape Magazine – Building a Gym Body at Home, On-air sports reporting for KTLA-5 and now as an Co-Owner and Fitness Coach for Stadium Fitness & BB360. She is also the Co-Owner and Director of Operations for Stadium Fitness Yoga and in 2013 was named to the Lululemon Athletica Ambassor program in Pasadena.
Director of Programming
Lorne has promoted positive relationships between children and their families who are at-risk and those with special needs since 1996. He earned a dual B.A. degree in Psychology and Child Development in 2001 and has received broad training in the areas of social relationships & friendships, sensory integration, communication facilitation and behavioral management.
Lorne has worked as 1:1 aide in the school setting, provided individualized behavioral intervention in the home/community environments and participated in IEPs. He has also trained, supervised and developed unique learning programs for children on the autism spectrum and those with other developmental disabilities.
Lorne personally values and puts great emphasis on quality of life, self-reliance, independence and the need to have fun. He strongly believes that the mind and the body need to work together to create positive social and emotional growth.
AB grew up in the Pasadena area for most of his life. Training as a competitive tennis player since age 3, he played for the Egyptian National Club for 4 years, then returned to Los Angeles to continue his training.
AB attended New York University on full scholarship, from where he graduated in three years. He has been training and working with athletes all his life and continues to bring his infectious energy, heart and sense of humor to each and every class he coaches.
AB is passionate about not only helping people get into shape, but getting them to consider themselves athletes too.
Peter is a native Californian. He attended the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in International Business. Growing up and loving Los Angeles based sports teams, his first job out of Cal Poly was with the Staples Center where he developed his skills as a customer service professional and now brings that expertise to BB360 and Stadium Fitness.
Peter competed in Track and Field as a Shotput, Discus and Javelin thrower throughout his high school and collegiate careers where he gained most of his resistance and weight training knowledge.
Peter relates well to newcomers at Stadium Fitness as he is his own success story losing over 70 pounds. He is very passionate about health and nutrition and gains satisfaction in helping others in the program achieve their weight loss goals, while having a positive impact on their journey to a healthier lifestyle.
